Privacy Policy
Our commitment to transparency and data stewardship for every visitor and client.
At Nodaro, we view your data as a responsibility, not a resource. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect the information you provide when interacting with our studio website or communicating with our team. Our operations are based in Istanbul, Türkiye, and we adhere to principles of data minimization, purpose limitation, and security by design.
We do not sell your data. We do not engage in aggressive tracking or behavioral profiling. Our goal is simple: to provide you with information about our design work and to communicate effectively with potential clients. If you have questions, our door is always open. You can contact us directly using the information at the bottom of this page.
What We Collect & Why
Direct Correspondence
When you email us, use our contact form, or call our studio, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any information you choose to share. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry, assess project feasibility, and maintain our client relationship.
Website Analytics
We use privacy-focused, anonymized analytics to understand general site traffic patterns—such as which portfolio pieces receive the most views. This helps us improve our content. No personal identifiers are tracked. We do not use cookies for advertising or social media tracking.
Server Logs
Like most websites, our server automatically records your IP address, browser type, and timestamp for security and diagnostic purposes. This information is retained for a short period and is not combined with personal data unless required by law.
Our Core Principle
We collect only what is necessary to perform our service. Every data point we request is directly tied to a specific, transparent purpose: client communication, project collaboration, or site functionality. If we can answer your question without collecting certain information, we will.
Security Measures
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. We maintain regular software updates and use secure hosting infrastructure. Access to any stored personal information is strictly limited to authorized Nodaro team members who require it for their work.
A typical scene in our studio. We believe in transparency as a core design practice.
Your Rights & Choices
You control your data. Here are the specific rights we guarantee for every user.
Access & Portability
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will provide it in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Correction
If you believe any data we hold is inaccurate, you can request correction. We act promptly to update our records.
Erasure (Right to be Forgotten)
You can request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data we are required to retain for legal or administrative reasons.
Objection & Restriction
You can object to our processing of your data or ask us to restrict processing under certain circumstances.
Third Parties & Data Sharing
We value our partnerships, but we are selective about data sharing. Your information is never sold or traded. It is only shared with trusted partners under strict agreements.
Our Data Processors
- • Email & Hosting Provider: We use a reputable European-based service for email and website hosting. They process data only on our instructions and are GDPR-compliant.
- • Analytics Tool: A privacy-first analytics platform (e.g., Plausible or Fathom) that anonymizes all visitor data by default.
- • Legal Compliance: In the rare case of a legal request, we may be compelled to disclose information to Turkish authorities, following due process.
Pitfall Avoided
We avoid 'dark pattern' cookie banners. Our consent is clear and the choices are straightforward.
Exercise Your Rights
To make a request regarding your data, please contact our Data Privacy Officer. We will respond within 30 days, free of charge, unless your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
