Istanbul’s Digital Atelier
Our studio operates from a converted warehouse in Karaköy, where the morning light hits our drafting tables and the Bosphorus breeze carries the sound of the city. We treat every project as a custom commission: no templates, no recycled codebases. Each site is built from the ground up to match the client's brand DNA.
“A website should feel like a conversation, not a brochure. Our code is clean, our animations are purposeful, and our typography is always legible.”
The 'Nodaro Method' is our proprietary workflow that merges agile sprints with traditional design critique sessions, ensuring both speed and depth. We maintain a strict 3-client maximum per quarter to guarantee undivided attention and deep immersion in each project's world. Our toolset is intentionally lean—Figma for exploration, VS Code for precision, and Git for collaboration—avoiding the bloat of enterprise software.
Anatomy of a Nodaro Project
A transparent look at our evidence-based workflow, from discovery to launch. We embrace constraints as a creative catalyst.
Phase 1: Discovery & Strategy
We conduct stakeholder interviews and audit competitors. Output: a one-page strategy document with key user personas and a sitemap.
Phase 2: Visual Exploration
We create 3 distinct mood boards and 2 high-fidelity UI concepts. Output: a Figma file with annotated components and a style guide.
Constraint We Embrace
Browser Compatibility. We test on the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, but do not support IE11.
Pitfall We Avoid
The 'Design by Committee' trap. We establish a single point of contact and a clear decision-making hierarchy from the start.
Phase 3: Development & Iteration
We build in a live staging environment. You get weekly access to review progress. Output: a Git repository with clean commit history.
"Our commit history tells the project's story—pivots, fixes, and final polish."
Micro-Scenario
A client requests a last-minute feature change. Our process includes a change-order protocol that assesses impact on timeline and budget transparently.
The Nodaro Philosophy
Six non-negotiables that guide every decision.
Performance as a Feature
Every site must achieve a 95+ Lighthouse score. We ship with lazy-loading, optimized assets, and clean, semantic HTML.
Mobile-First, Always
We design for the thumb, not the mouse. Navigation, touch targets, and content hierarchy are built for the smallest screen first.
Accessibility is Not an Afterthought
We follow WCAG 2.1 AA standards from day one. This includes color contrast, keyboard navigation, and ARIA labels.
No Dark Patterns
We refuse to design for addictive engagement. Our sites respect user time and attention with clear value propositions.
Future-Proofing
We use modern, stable web standards (CSS Grid, Flexbox, vanilla JS) to ensure sites remain maintainable for years.
Client Education
We provide a simple, jargon-free guide to managing their new site, empowering them for the long term.
Beyond the Browser: Our Tools & Trade-offs
Our toolset is a curated stack, chosen for performance, clarity, and long-term stability. We are transparent about the trade-offs we make to deliver quality.
Atomic Design
Our component-based approach. We build UI elements (buttons, cards) once and reuse them, ensuring consistency and faster development. We believe this is more sustainable than fighting a bloated visual language.
Static Site Generators (11ty/Hugo)
We favor speed and security over complex CMS backends. The trade-off? Less dynamic "admin" for clients, which we mitigate with a clear guide for content updates.
Vercel/Netlify Hosting
Global CDN and automatic deployments ensure near-instant load times. We forgo traditional server management to focus on the front-end craft.
Key Trade-off
We forgo a large sales team. This means we spend more time on each client relationship, but our project pipeline is carefully curated to 3 clients per quarter.
The Human Element
We are a small team with a wide network, driven by craft and collaboration.

Our Network & Culture
We collaborate with a trusted circle of freelance specialists—illustrators, copywriters, and SEO strategists—on a project-by-project basis.
We hold weekly 'critique' sessions where the entire team reviews work-in-progress, ensuring multiple perspectives on every pixel.
We are a remote-first studio with a physical hub in Istanbul. This allows us to attract talent globally while maintaining a strong local presence.
We invest 10% of our time in open-source contributions and writing about web design, giving back to the community that supports us.
